John Clinton Gray
Stories and Narration
After growing up in Levittown, New York and graduating from college in Ohio, John’s first career as an engineer made it clear to him that he was better with words and people than with numbers and things. John and his wife, Pamela, met and married in Colorado, lived in Arizona a few years, then moved to southern California where they founded and, for decades, led a spiritual community and revitalized Glen Ivy Hot Springs, near Corona, CA, into one of the most successful spa businesses in America. They raised their family and have traveled extensively, John as a public speaker and, more recently, as a writer.
Leaving Glen Ivy in 2010 after 34 years, John and an architect friend formed Voelker Gray Design, specializing in spa and resort design and master planning. In addition to writing, he is a Planning Commissioner for the City of Lake Elsinore. John and Pamela have two grown children, two grandchildren, no more pets, and are happy empty-nesters.
